HONORARY VISIT BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE ROYAL INSTITUTION OF SURVEYORS MALAYSIA (RISM) TO THE DEPARTMENT OF SURVEY AND MAPPING MALAYSIA (JUPEM)
KUALA LUMPUR, June 8 - A delegation from the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) led by the President of RISM, YBhg. Dato ’Sr Dr. Azhari bin Mohamed made an honory visit on YBrs. Sr Mohammad Zaki bin Mohd Ghazali, Director General of Survey and Mapping Malaysia today. The RISM delegation was also attended by the Deputy President of RISM, namely Sr Dainna binti Baharuddin, Secretary General of RISM, Sr Saiful Wazlan Bin Wahab, Treasurer General of RISM, YBrs. Sr Wan Mohamad Darani bin Ab Rahman and YBhg. Datuk Sr Hj. Johari bin Wahab who is the Chairman of the Geomatics and Land Surveying Division (GLS-RISM).
The courtesy call also discussed RISM's activities planned for 2022 as well as several collaborations between RISM and JUPEM in organizing programs such as the 24th International Surveyors' Congress (ISC) 2022 seminar.
RISM is a professional institution that unites the survey profession such as Land Surveyor through Geomatics and Land Surveying Division (GLS-RISM), Quantity Surveyor profession through Quantity Surveying Division (QS-RISM), Property Valuation Surveyor profession through Property Surveying Division (PS-RISM) and Building Surveyors through the Building Surveyor Division (BS-RISM).
At the end of the visit, YBrs. Sr Mohammad Zaki bin Mohd Ghazali presented a souvenir to YBhg. Dato ’Sr Dr. Azhari bin Mohamed as a token of appreciation.
