HONORARY VISIT OF THE DIRECTOR OF PAHANG STATE ENFORCEMENT UNIT (UPNP) TO THE DIRECTOR GENERAL OF SURVEY AND MAPPING MALAYSIA

KUALA LUMPUR, June 20 - A delegation from the Pahang State Enforcement Unit led by YBhg. Dato 'Mohd Zulkifli bin Hashim together with UPNP officers namely Encik Hamzani Amier bin Mohamad (Head of Management & Finance Sector), Encik Muhamad Rushdan Hakim bin Ramzan (Chief Enforcement Officer of East Pahang), Encik Mohamad Ainuddin Iswadi bin Mashudi (Head of Research Section) & Remote Sensing) and Mr. Hasmadi bin Mahyudin (Head of Consultancy & Compliance Section) make a visit to YBrs. Sr Mohammad Zaki bin Mohd Ghazali, Director General of Survey and Mapping Malaysia this morning.

Also present at this session were YBrs. Sr Muhammad Salim Bin Mohammed Asri, Director of Divisional Survey (Cadastre), Brig. Jen. Sr. Dr. Mohd Zambri bin Mohamad Rabab, Divisional Director (Defense Geospatial) and Sr Mohamad Azmar bin Che Mat, Divisional Director of Survey (Planning and Corporate).

At this meeting session, both parties discussed the role and functions of the Department/Agency involving the management and use of geospatial data in their respective fields of work.

UPNP is a special unit established since 15 October 2019 by the Pahang State Government to carry out enforcement duties based on the acts under the jurisdiction of the Pahang state government and has used geospatial data as one of the methods in carrying out enforcement activities and duties by their side.
